lets talk about salt shall we?

i find myself craving it again. yup. craving salt. means my sugars are off again dammit. i crave salt every time my sugars go up.

so.. now to cut the extra salt and sugar out of my diet again. this is goign to be tough. no really. it will. spicing things up means using a bit of salt to heighten the flavours of things. and damn montreal streak spice has so much salt.

so.. i am going to try and post everything i eat into a journal. hold myself accountable for it. starting in feb. as part of my lesscushion challange for myself for the month. and 750 minutes of exercise. no excuse. my body has been feeling a little better. just have to get going on it and take this change of life style more seriously.

You can do it! :) I'm here to support you!!

I'm trying to take my diet seriously this year, starting with a low calorie limit, then adding more and more exercise, etc.

If you need someone to complain to about missing delicious foods, I'm all ears. <3

If you like Montreal steak spice you should give Mrs. Dash a try. I laughed when my sister had some, because what is this, 1992? It was actually really good and convenient, I love salt and I couldn't believe it didn't have any. At least in the states there are a ton of varieties now.

i love mrs. dash! and all the variety they have. it's just convincing the other salt lovers in my family to use it.

cuz some mashed potatoes with mrs. dash on top is just.. mmmm..... no more gravy for this girl.

Ha, sorry, I just rediscovered it. I don't buy spices in the grocery store usually so I had no idea it was still around. Can they salt theirs separately or something? I always thought the main concern with salt was hidden salt in processed food and not salting homemade food, but I've never had an issue with sodium. Good luck!
