gosh darn it,. the sewing machine i have, the one that has been siting in the corner of the dining area for a long time now.. Guess what..

It was my grandfathers. Now i know why my mom was pushing for me to fix it up so much! XD Guess i call johnstons and get a quote on fixing it up. might be cheaper then getting a new one. might not. Might still get a new one anyways for light stuff. since aparently this one has done everything from Jeans to Canvas to leather. O.o

the things i find out when my mom phones me. because i am a terrible daughter and i forget to phone her all the time. i wish my mom was still within walking distance of my place. now she is a 6-7 hour drive away...

6-7 hrs? Thought your Mom lived in GP.. that's only 4½ hrs away... (450 km... 100 km/hr... maybe another hr longer..)

I've never made it from here to GP in less than 5 1/2 hours, honestly. o.o

Those machines are hideously easy to fix up, since they're ridiculously simple, especially if you have the manual still. (My grandmother's sewing machine manual had an explosion diagram of all the inner workings in case you ever had to take it apart.)

What I am implying, since I apparently don't make sense, is that it should not be very expensive.
