Jun. 5th, 2008 11:05 pmso things are going well. settling in. and OMG we had ALOT OF SHIT packed into that apartment. which once again looks huge now our shit is out of it.
alot of good and bad memories sit there. glad to leave behind the bad. this is a new start, a new beginning, a new chapter if you will.
Best new challenge i've had in a while. even if it was expensive.
Landlord took down the "For Sale" sign, so i am taking that as a good sign. he may have good long term tenants if things all go well. :)
not liking the king size bed int he bedroom. doenst leave much space for the dresser. as there are 2 configurations we can think of that do not block the heating vent. neither are very good. neither provide alot of space in the room it's self. one puts the bed in the middle of a wall, leaving a 2 ft space between the bed and the closet, and 2 ft aprox on the other side of the bed for the dresser. i hate it. that is how my room before was set up. so little space to do anything, and clothes tend to pile up there and extra blankets do as well. bleh.
other config is havint the bed shoved into one corner, with the dresser directly beside it. but it gives less then a foot of space to opent he dresser drawers. did i ever mention i hate hate long dressers? and prefer the ones where all the drawers stack on it?
so anyways, Cats settling in, Keika looves to steal Jemm's and Susu's food. i don;t mind. as long as she is eating, i'll set aside a portion for her in her own bowl. XD fed them canned food the other night. keika was all like OMG THIS IS DELICI"OUS! i was amused!
in other news need to break out art stuff soon. need to find screws to put my desk back together and set up the crafty area. i'm getting itchy to craft or paint or do SOMETHING along those lines. i've been crocheting up a storm with little bags for kids and headbands and such, and giving them away to people who have had bad days and such. XD i love it.
