so, unless someone can figure out how to fix the laptop. it is essentially a huge pain int he ass to use.

i'm taking it to grande prairie with me. one of the tech guys at mom's office might be able to fix it. bleh. gotta cart the disks with me and hope like bloody hell i do not lose my files from it. i reallly hope not.
