Presently Blith is in the hospital with serious pancreatis caused by a gall bladder stone that blocked her bile duct. She was admitted to hospital monday morning about 5 a.m., and has been there since then.
The stone has passed, so the immediate crisis is over, but she's being carefully monitored for complications while they forcibly rest her pancreas (no food, no water, hydration via IV and, as of tomorrow morning, feeding by tube).
She's in a lot of pain, but they seem to have finally settled onto a good scheme for controlling it. On the flipside, she's tired very often, and while she would like some visitors, not for long. (5-10 minutes or so, and don't take it personal if she falls asleep on you!)
Doctor's aren't saying when they expect to release her, anywhere as soon as a few days, to as long as 11 more days, and that's only without complications.
Jocaya's being looked after here at home; Blith's mom is here to help out.
