Remember that post i made yesterday i think on impending doom. I now know what it was.

There was Drama in the LRT (think subway stations). Some girl was being yelled at by her boyfriend-now-ex that she didn't really want to get an abortion the more she thought of it, and he was yelling at her, and over the course of 10 minutes got louder and louder.. so 3 of us headed up there, actually i bolted, nad the other 2 walked over there. I got int he middle of it, and asked him to back off her, She was hunched in a corner crying ehr little eyes out while he was yelling at her to get out of the LRT station so they could "talk" She refused to leave. We called security and stayed with them, keeping him at a 5 foot radius from her, the one chance he did get close to her and grabbed her waist trying to pull her out from between the 3 of us. (mind you, both the lady the gentleman, and myself all weigh no less then 200 pounds, or more) we blockaded him until help came.

I gave her my number, and told her to call me if she needed to talk. Goodness, i really hope she does. She sounds like she needs a few good friends to give him a fucking kick int he head. He also smashed his MP3 cd player against a wall, so i threw it out. the whole time the LRT security was detaining him, he kept calling her name and telliung her he would meet her outside where it was off their property. Good choice, cuz then your on police property, and i have no hesitation on calling 911 on his ass. :)

Good for helping out a girl that's obviously in need of it, but scary scary scary for you to dive into the middle of a confrontation like that! D:

I'm glad that things were turning out okay. I hope that she's not in a worse situation, now.

*hugs*

I hope so too. And yeah, it was scary.. But who know what would have happened if no one stepped in.. I fear for her i really do. I couldn't stand by when you hear her to stop yelling at her, and him yelling at her to come withe hr off LRT proprty.. Like it would have stopped anything.

But she has my number and name, So i hope she calls if she needs it. :)

Good for you, helping her!

We had to call the cops the other night, too. Our neighbors were fighting, it sounded like the guy got home drunk/drugged & was feeling frisky, we heard her yelling about how she wasn't going to get fucked up the ass by some fucking asshole (her words), then it just kept escalating, with him demanding money from her & her saying that she needed to spend money to buy their son food, etc. He went from demanding $80 to several hundred, they were yelling & fighting, this was like 2 a.m. mind you, finally we gave up when she started yelling about "Don't you push me!" & "Don't you DARE!" - called the cops and had them come by & check things out.

Had she left the apartment we were going to ask her if she & the little one needed to stay the night here, but if she left at all it was after the cops got here. :-\

blargh on domestic vioolence. i'm a huge fan of peaceful surroundings, and it totally throws my mood to hear shit going on. I paused for about 2-3 minutes too, deciding if i was going to go up there or not, But when people came down the stairs to the station, looking over their shoulder, Several hessitating as to wether or not they were going to go back up, I coul;dn't sit there. Even if i got hurt in the situation, i would have done it all over again. No questions asked.

To that girl, you must have seemed like an angel in disguise, hon. Good on you for stepping in and helping out someone who was obviously in need. I hope she knows that she's not alone out there.

You're a brave girl, and I love you. :)

But please next time just call security first and get the police and don't get your pretty face at risk of Crazy Asshole Guy hitting it or anything. :(
