my comp won't turn on at all! it booted fine! then shut off. now the hard drive makes clicking noises. i think it needs some maintence! ohh... no comp art for me while i try and figure this out.... Please let don't let it be a virus..

O.o that doesn't sound good....it may just be an issue with the drive; I'm not an expert but it sounds like the drive failed on you >,<

The HD clicking can mean that the drive went out, but you should have a certified tech look at it to find out for sure. Even if it has gone out, getting it to the right person may allow you to retain the files on the drive.

I bet you a dollar that your hard drive's failed. Take it in somewhere and hope they can get your data off of it for you. On the upside, new hard drives are cheap. On the downside, I hope you backed up your data.

i forgot to back it up. Oh well. back to square one! XD atleast all the programs i ahve all the orginal disks for. :) Slicky is gonna look at it. If he can't do anything. i'm computerless till april. Will be a nice break though.
